Inspired by her past and everything she has been through, Slay Mayas, born in Queens, New York is a singer and songwriter that uplifts you with music that faces the truth and reality, the type of music that reaches into your core and makes you feel undestood, that gives you a voice when you feel voiceless and gives you hope no matter the situation.

Slay Mayas's music inspirations are artists like Alicia Keys, Sade, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Bruno Mars and Chris Brown, to name a few, she is an artist who discovered her beautiful, powerful yet soulful voice at age of fourteen and has been in music path since then her passion for music has led her to the top for the Hollywoodbowl competition, where she won a chance to perform at the world renowned Clive Davis theatre in LA and she will be performing BET weekend 2022 . Slay is booked and busy, and gigs (paid gigs) regularly in her town (Philly), and is gearing up to open up for some major acts, including a performance at this year's odunde festival in philly. Slay is also set to embark on her first ever tour with stops in DC, maryland, new york, philly, new jersey, and Delaware. Slay is taking the old fashion route of building a fan base, by performing intimate gigs in the Tri-State to start . She has plenty of music to share as she has three albums released all within the last few years as well as a string of steady singles that she has been dropping steadily since 2020.  Slay also made it to the Surviving Philly reality show.
